Task lighting is commonly known as desk, table and floor lighting and is used anywhere focused light is required. In recent years, task lighting manufacturers have embraced alternative lighting technology - energy-efficient light sources such as fluorescent, LED (light-emitting diodes), halogen, incandescent and Xenon lighting.
